What happened in my workshop? I started experimenting with doll wigs, and discovered how much a new hairstyle could change the same face. A pale bob and a vivid orange one gave this doll two very different moods.
One Doll, Two Looks
The pale hair creates a softer impression, while the orange version feels bold and playful. For me, it brought a little “Fifth Element” atmosphere into the workshop, not a finished cosplay project, just an unexpected spark of inspiration.
Trial, Error, and New Possibilities
These photographs capture the wigs before their final trimming and styling. Through trial and error, I explore the shape, adjust the hair, and look at the doll from different angles.
The most enjoyable part is that moment of transformation, when a familiar face suddenly suggests a new character. Sometimes the next costume idea begins right there, with a change of hair.
