Miniature Witch Hats: Small but Real

Miniature Witch Hats: Small but Real

There is no witchcraft here, only pieces of felt, decorative buttons, and a little imagination. These photographs capture a playful project from my atelier: miniature black witch hats taking shape on the workbench.

From Felt to a Familiar Silhouette

Pointed crowns and wide, rounded brims give the hats their unmistakable character. The first photograph shows the simple black shapes before the more elaborate decorations appear, a glimpse of the accessories at an early stage.

A Touch of Mischief

The decorations bring a different mood to the basic shapes. Black mesh, red accents, and a small white skull ornament turn one of the hats into a more theatrical accessory. Against the dark materials, the skull becomes the focal point.

This is where the character of a miniature costume begins to emerge: not through a complicated design, but through a few carefully chosen details.

No Spells Required

I enjoy these little departures from everyday doll fashion. A hat can suggest a whole character before the rest of the outfit is even ready.

For now, the photographs preserve a small moment from the workbench, felt, buttons, and trims becoming something delightfully witchy.
